Health Career Connection is a national non-profit that inspires and empowers undergraduate students, recent graduates and HCC alumni, particularly those from under-represented or disadvantaged backgrounds, to choose and successfully pursue healthcare and public health careers. Health Career Connection makes substantial contributions to the priority goals of our partner organizations and increases diversity in the health professions. HCC comprehensive summer internship program provides hands on exposure, experience and mentoring. HCC’s paid, full-time summer educational internships assist undergraduate students and recent graduates to pursue careers in healthcare management and policy, health education, community health, nursing administration, and other public health options.
The American Indian Center is a proud sponsor of the Health Career Connection Program and appreciates the professional development opportunities and resources it provides to internship participants, particularly those from underrepresented populations seeking careers and connections related to community health & wellness.
