The “Careers In Forestry” workshop will take place Thursday, June 19, 2014 in the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business. There will be three 1-hour concurrent sessions from 10:00 AM-2:45 PM.
Approximately 275 American Indian youth and adults representing the eight tribes and four urban Indian organizations are expected to attend.
The youth selected the theme “Young, Native, and Free-Keeping Indians Strong and Spiritual” because they wanted to stress the journey native peoples have endured to bring us all to this point and their desire to stay connected to native culture and traditions.
