The UNC American Indian Center will be hosting our 2016 Carolina Horizons student enrichment program. Carolina Horizons is a three day “crash course” designed to prepare students for the college application process. From June 29-July 2, 50 American Indian high school students will experience:
• Reside in a dorm on campus and eating in the dining hall
• Receive materials and tips on writing a college admission essays
• Write a college essay and receive feedback from admissions and college advisors
• Meet admissions counselors from various universities across the state
Plus on the final day parents can learn about affording college and completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)!
Who is eligible? Applicants must be a rising high school junior or senior and be able to demonstrate strong interest in pursuing higher education.
