New! You can now fulfill the University’s language requirement with Cherokee Language. The language courses can also count toward fulfilling the requirements for a major or minor in American Indian and Indigenous Studies.
Both courses, CHER 101 and CHER 203, are taught by American Studies Assistant Professor, Dr. Ben Frey, a citizen of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.
