The Alumni Committee on Racial and Ethnic Diversity is dedicated to serving Carolina’s multi-cultural communities by engaging diverse alumni in the life of the university, and forging deeper and lasting relationships between Carolina and itsACRED minority constituents. The American Indian Subcommittee of ACRED aims to help advance the University’s role as a leader for American Indian scholarship and help secure a place for Native issues in the institution’s intellectual life.

“Celebrating Carolina’s Diversity” is a bi-annual electronic newsletter sent out to alumni and friends that addresses news and issues that are important to our multicultural community. The stories, events and announcements are intended to keep you apprised of what’s going on at UNC and further encourage you to stay involved with the University. The current newsletter highlights several American Indian Alumni along with their roles and contributions to American Indian communities and to UNC. See newsletter
