2018 Welcome Extravaganza!

WHEN: Thursday, August 23^rd from 4:00PM-6:00PM

WHERE: Side lawn of the American Indian Center (Abernethy Hall at the corner of Columbia & Cameron St.)

Join us for BBQ, live music by Lakota John & Kin, and information about American Indian student organizations, American Indian & Indigenous Studies, the American Indian Center, and other campus partners! The American Indian Center will host the Welcome Extravaganza for the Carolina American Indian Community and Friends as a way for students, faculty, staff, and community members to network and learn more about Native life at UNC! Students’ families are welcome to attend. Rain or Shine! In the case of rain, the event will be held at the American Indian Center, inside Abernethy Hall.
