The American Indian Center’s Carolina American Indian Roundtable (CAIR) will begin its third year starting September 19th from 3:00-4:00pm in Abernethy 102. We will use this space discuss current research and engagement happening in American Indian communities and Tribal Nations. We will also be able to share new opportunities for collaboration and engagement based on feedback from Tribes.

Specifically, the CAIR will:

  • Identify ongoing scholarly work with American Indian communities and Tribal Nations to promote a comprehensive approach to engagement that fosters mutually beneficial relationships between the University and tribes;
  • Introduce significant stakeholders in American Indian communities to faculty and staff on campus;
  • Inform tribal leaders about opportunities on campus that may be beneficial to their Tribal Nation; and

All CAIR meetings are held from 3:00-4:00pm in Abernethy 102.
