The Carolina Indian Circle will be hosting their 33rd Annual Powwow on UNC-Chapel Hill’s Campus on February 29, 2020.
There you will be able to experience American Indian culture and traditions first hand. You will be able to witness dancing from the the First People themselves, learn the significance of the different dances, and even join in on a few social dances. There will be Native arts and craft vendors with an array of items for purchase and display. Additionally, you will be able to try food popular among Native people, such as Indian Tacos.
