Chancellor Carol L. Folt selected six Carolina employees to receive 2016 C. Knox Massey Distinguished Service Awards, one of the most coveted distinctions earned by faculty and staff. The American Indian Center’s (AIC) very own Randi Byrd was among the recipients.

Randi Byrd has worked with the AIC for 7 years in an effort to serve American Indian People. Her main focus as Community Engagement Coordinator has been supporting the Healthy Native North Carolinian Network to promote active living and healthy eating.

The American Indian Center is appreciative of Randi Bryd’s hard work and congratulates her for winning this year’s Massey Award.
